How to Play the Piano - Here's How to Play Left Hand Bass Accompaniments!!

First, you have to be able to locate the 5th TONE of any chord!
That's right... to play piano with feel, you MUST understand that the root and the 5th of ANY chord establishes the harmonic foundation in your left hand.
For an example, the C Major chord is spelled: C  E  G
The ROOT is C and the 5th tone is: G
Just try it on your keyboard... in 4/4 time... play C for the first 2 beats, and play G for beats 3 and 4.
Repeat the pattern.
Now once you can maintain the pattern... play a C Major chord in your right hand!
Always remember to FOCUS on the Left Hand.  The pulse of YOUR music is there!
Don't forget, your ability to play piano is based on how well your left hand is DEVELOPED!

To your success,
